AI-assisted monitoring, a browser-based multiviewer over Media over QUIC, and membership of the MXL open-source project: at IBC 2026 (stand 5.D74, RAI Amsterdam), Mediaproxy unveils a series of innovations that redefine live stream supervision. Visionetics, Mediaproxy’s partner and French distributor, will be on the stand.

LogServer: from after-the-fact analysis to real-time alerting

LogServer, Mediaproxy’s flagship monitoring system in continuous development since 2001, gains a full set of artificial intelligence tools. Its capabilities now span the entire chain, from on-demand analysis and reporting through to live monitoring and alerting.

Two developments stand out: quality of experience (QoE) control, which reshapes live monitoring workflows, and enhanced real-time event detection, designed for fast-moving broadcast situations. On the stand, LogServer will be demonstrated performing automated checks normally carried out by human operators.

Monwall Web: the multiviewer in the browser, a world first

Making its world debut at IBC 2026, Monwall Web is the browser-based version of the Monwall software multiviewer. With no installation and no dedicated hardware, it delivers fully interactive monitoring of live mosaics, including audio output monitoring and the ability to go back over live streams.

On latency, Monwall Web supports LL-HLS and the emerging MoQ (Media over QUIC) protocol, both firewall-friendly. This is what finally makes large-scale monitoring viable from a remote site or an operator’s home, with no compromise on security policy.

Mediaproxy joins the MXL open-source project

Mediaproxy has also joined MXL (Media eXchange Layer), the open-source project dedicated to software-defined live production frameworks. The vendor will integrate ultra-low-latency in-memory media transport directly into its software workflows — a strong signal for infrastructures moving towards software-defined architectures.

“After extensive research into our target market, we began developing a set of tools that go beyond traditional monitoring paradigms. Monwall Web is also transforming remote monitoring. […] Mediaproxy continues to innovate to reduce operating costs and maximise efficiency.”
